"Very blessed afternoon/evening with a huge group of people! We left from the Mother House, walked to the seminary and had Adoration/prayer service and broke into groups to discuss vocations and how to evangelize in our churches to cause Vocations. Met people from all over the world who are here to volunteer. Father Jim from Cincinnati, a very young priest is doing mass tomorrow morning at the Mother House at 6am, at least I know it's in English!"
"For a city that bathes in the street...why am "I" out of hot water!!!!? All of a sudden very hungry for steak! Lol And why am I up at 5am to go to Mass when I can't get up in time to go to Matins at 9:30 at home...dang, what's wrong with this picture!?!? Na, not a new me just a new experience, don't get excited!"
"Mass, breakfast of bread, banana and chi tea...now off to work until 3pm. My 2 day assignment until The official orientation on Monday at 3pm. Soooo many awesome people in one place...amazing! I've fallen in love with Sister Mercy Maria, strong caring woman of God!"
Tanya noted that things are a lot easier and more comfortable back at home. For example, when something is needed, she is used to just going in and buying it, without dealing with all of the traffic in the streets, the horns honking from the vehicles, the bad smells, the dogs growling at you, and the cow poop. She mentioned with humility that she began to think she really wasn't good at this, and that she has more flaws than you can imagine.
"Nap time means break time!!!! Patted a few babies to sleep... These kids are so hungry for attention, they get it but can't get enough! They have no idea what it feels like to have a family."
