It's so natural to give. The Denver Homeless Ministry is thankful for those who have given to our ministry in order that we can bless those who make their homes on the streets in Denver. There are donors who have even given out of their own needs because they have a heart concerned for the needs of others. What a thing to marvel about in times when it so often looks like it's an "every man for himself" mentality. Such generosity is absolutely glorious.
On #Giving Tuesday the dhms wants to let good hearts know that we are a non-profit ministry that partners with groups that reach out to the homeless in the Denver area. As you think about what you may be able to do for the homeless, you can bless the Denver Homeless Ministry with your donation, entrusting it to those who are actively friends with the people on the streets and know their needs. As a matter of fact, the Denver Homeless Ministry just recently was pleased to pass on a benevolent donor's gift of submarine-sandwich platters purchased from a popular and delicious food chain to the residents at the Delores Project.
Why do we give? Why do I give? Why do you give? Isn't it natural? Love is a beautiful thing, and it's great to be a part of it. Love gives. Today is a perfect day to bless somebody. The dhms would appreciate the opportunity to pass your gift of love on for you.
We'd like to ask you to keep us in your prayers as we follow our call to serve Christ the King in the distressing disguise of the poor.
