Romona's amazing journey...

Being able to witness a life changed by the Lord, is the greatest gift. Denver to Missouri, this woman has gone through hell and straight to the arms of Jesus! I met Ramona Kelley on the 16th Mall in downtown Denver spanging (spare changing) to raise money for her and her newborn daughter to stay in a Motel. After talking to her, I posted her story on Facebook telling friends that if they see her, she's legit, please help, do whatever you can. Some of my friends, two women with small children of their own, Jenny & David and Kristen , not only offered to help but they actually stepped out of their comfort zone to go to the Motel taking her items she needed! Jenny's husband Dave, stayed in the car with her small children, he was "starting to get concerned that she was gone so long...Jenny said "mommy bonding", takes time! This is Ramona's story...please keep her in your prayers! Thanks to Jenny and Kristen...love does make a difference.

Romona's amazing journey...

Since having my child under a bridge in Denver in 2015, I've relocated back to my home area in Southeast Missouri. I came home and stayed with my brother until he was killed in December 2015. My child her father and I decided to finally get out on our own and get a place but something was missing. The father eventually abandoned me and our daughter. I struggled with addiction for the last nine years, IV drug use took everything including my freedom, in 2017 while incarcerated for 92 days I turned my life over to Christ. I was released from jail March of 2018 and I once again turned to what I know, drugs. January 2019 I lost my child to DCF, I quit to get her back but then went right back to using when she came home. May 10th she was sent to live with my mother by DFS. I was ordered to Inpatient Rehab where I stayed for ten days and hitchhiked 98 miles back home. But instead of running to my Nemesis I ran to a start up Recovery Group through and apostolistic church. I prayed feverishly and fast and jumped in feet first, a leap of faith and I repented. I've now got my child home and a new home and a job and by God's grace I'm clean and sober four months now and I have surrendered my time, myself, pay my tithes, and pray! I study the word and have been obedient to the Lord, no questions asked. I was baptized in Jesus name August 9th 2019 my child is now in church with me. I am a single mother but my father protects and provides!
